DigiWorld - DIY super cheap XR glove

BSc assignment

This bachelor's thesis proposes the development of a do-it-yourself (DIY) super cheap XR glove (one pair of gloves is less than 100 euro) for extended reality (XR) applications. The project aims to leverage inexpensive materials and simple design principles to create an accessible haptic feedback solution for XR interactions.

The glove will be designed to interface with common XR platforms and provide basic tactile sensations to users, enabling immersive experiences at a fraction of the cost of traditional XR gloves. Through prototyping, testing, and documentation of the design process, this project seeks to empower students to DIY enthusiastic design to cool stuff to explore XR technology affordably and creatively.
