It is a challenge to retrace the different parts of a neuroblastoma in children after resection to the correct orientation and to see if all parts are completely removed during surgery.
This bachelor assignment looks at the possibilities in the field of using an electromagnetic system in combination with virtual resection in the surgical removal of neuroblastoma.
We will look at the contribution in accurate and complete removal of the neuroblastoma tissue during surgery and on retracing the orientation of the tumour parts after resection.
