This project developed a low-cost DIY XR glove to provide realistic haptic feedback for immersive XR experiences. Inspired by the Lucidgloves project, the glove was modified for to work in the XR environment and integrated with the Hololens 2. The glove uses the finger-tracking capabilities of the Hololens 2 to give real-time haptic feedback.
The project showcases the potential of affordable and accessible XR haptic technology and hopes to encourage further innovation.
