There has not been a standard method to reliably connect a metallic conductor to a 3D printed conductive polymer (as part of a 3D printed sensor). This thesis aims to research and identify a potential new design/configuration to bolster such a connection ensuring mechanical stability, flexibility, and maintaining considerable conductivity simultaneously. This would aim to be a better alternative to the currently present methods like soldering, crimp connections, or by using silver paint over the copper tape.
In addition to the design, significant testing could be done to improve the design on any shortcomings as needed.
