Precision Design and Control of an MR-Safe Prostate Biopsy Robot

For this project, a redesign will be made on the current version of the MRI-Guided Prostate Biopsy Device. The redesign will be focused on increasing the precision and control of an MR-Safe Prostate Biopsy Robot. The design should implement MR-Safe sensor technology for position or calibration feedback.

The final design must be tested inside an MRI scanner on for example a phantom to test the requirements, and more specifically, the precision. Therefore, a control algorithm should be designed to achieve the desired accuracy and speed.
