Chiara Gabellieri is part of the Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchange project NEUTRAWEED

The European Commission has awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Staff Exchange grant for the NEUTRAWEED project, for which Chiara Gabellieri is the local PI at the University of Twente.

The project, coordinated by Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, puts together 16 academic and non-academic partners from 4 continents (Europe, Africa, Asia and America).

Over the next 4 years, the aim is to collaborate on theoretical and applied research in the fields of ecology, weed management, robotics and AI. Especially, the project will design new AI algorithms and robotics systems to study and selectively remove weeds with the goal of achieving Neutral Weed Communities, namely which can coexist with crops.
