A Production Cell setup had been made at uTwente, which has been realized as a miniature manufacturing cell. This setup has been used as a demo for the fairs organized by uTwente. However, at the moment, the Production Cell is controlled by relatively old hardware. To keep up with the current state of technology, it had been suggested to use a Raspberry Pi to control the Production Cell setup.
To control this setup, a real-time capable Raspberry Pi should be achieved. Furthermore, the complexity of the control problem at hand requires thoughtful consideration of how to solve it in a structured way. In this thesis, the points mentioned earlier are explored and/or solved.
