Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) is a technology that is used almost exclusively in the medical field, where it is used to determine the impedance distribution in the body. It is a common diagnostic tool that is used to inspect the lungs. EIT commonly uses numerous electrodes attached to the body, where only one electrode at the same time is used as a sending node whilst all other nodes read and determine the impedance to the sending node.

This paper proposes an alternative EIT measurement method in which all nodes function as both send and read electrodes at the same time. This is achieved through frequency multiplexing and filtering of the outputs.
