Tendon routing optimization of a tendon-driven gripper to reduce frictional effects

This project covers the optimization of an existing tendon driven gripper design in it’s frictional components. The goal of the redesign is to keep the main properties of this gripper (underactuated, variable joint stiffness, ability to adapt the grasp to the object), while improving the tendon force transmission efficiency.

The evaluation of the redesign will be done through simulations.
