Lennard Marx, Ewout Ligtenberg, Joep K. van der Mijle Meijer, and Iris Mulder, the lead authors of three papers at the International Conference on Biomedical Robotics and Biomechatronics (BioRob 2024), have been selected as finalists for the Best Conference Paper Award and the Best Student Paper Award. Their papers introduced several advances in robotics:
- Novel augmented reality-based digital twins for interactive robotic control for breast biopsy under the MRI
- The first demonstration of motion control of magnetizable sperm cells using X-ray-guided magnetic fields inside female reproductive tract model.
